FASTER - I'm Gonna Join the Circus/Anxiety at the Circus [Circus Suite, Parts II + III]
Celebrating the release of their new album, this duo of Kayla Milmine (vox, soprano sax, snacks) and Brian Abbott (guitar, sad face) played two sets of their unique jazz/punk cabaret. The first essayed their "Circus Suite" with the help of Allison Burns, who illustrated the songs with dance and puppet work. After a short break they played some of the tunes from FASTER presents FASTER (not yet on their bandcamp) plus some older ones, all presented with their unique mix of gentle balladry and heavy shredding, stopping for snacks and other diversions along the way.
