Darlene Cuevas + Michael Lynn + Yusuke Furutate - [excerpt from first piece]I hadn't been to the Gerrard Art Space since they moved a couple blocks east, but the new spot (just over from Coxwell) is a cozy storefront, quite appropriate for an evening of sly art-rock. Warming things up before FASTER celebrated their new album, this ad hoc trio (guitars, double bass and vox) took a few minutes to find their focus, but once Darlene Cuevas started adding her voice there was a heightened sense to the abstractions.
