Zacht Automaat - [first three songs]Full review to follow. Going to see ZA play one of their infrequent transatlantic gigs has always felt like being a member of some sort of cult. But now, with their double vinyl compilation drawing some new attention their way it felt more like... well, a slightly larger cult. But I definitely got the impression at this gig that there were a lot of folks that had recently discovered the band making their first foray into Carl Didur and Michael McLean's weird universe. To them, I say: welcome!
* Like on the band's recordings, songs came in clustered clumps. I think this is three separate things — if anyone work out the relevant titles, please leave a comment!
