Duncan "Doc Pickles" MacDonell has long espoused this bedrock principle and continues to put it into action. Clinging to his mic like a life preserver (when not leaping down to the floor like a sailor abandoning himself to the ocean), by set's end MacDonell looked like a guy who had just completed the last leg of a rock'n'roll triathalon — sweaty, spent, and satisfied that he gave it his all.
