Cheers to Sonic Boom, who are, once again, supporting community engagement and local music by allowing local labels to set up in their store and sell their wares directly to the curious at Cassette Store Day's tape fair. They also had live performances from some adventurous musicians — exactly the sort of left-of-the-dial stuff that thrives in cassette culture.

With a new album of doom-folk excursions on its way soon, Ken Reaume commented that this might be the last time some of these older songs get an airing in his live set. This one is on the flip of a pre-album cassette from Pleasence Records, which makes it an appropriate choice to celebrate Cassette Store Day.
